The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. Key job responsibilities

1. Within WWSO, this position is part of the Worldwide Specialist Team, where you will lead the GTM strategy for Amazon Q Developer aligned to a sales vertical.
2. Create sales plays, leverage partners, and build new initiatives that drive results for our customers.
3. Provide critical feedback from customers to inform our product roadmap, and work closely with our partner network to build an ecosystem supporting our customers’ goals.
4. Play a critical role as the “first in” teams to build markets for new services, domains, or solutions.
5. Innovate with customers to build and deliver what they need.

A day in the life

1. Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of strategic customer accounts, managing relationships and acting as a strategic advisor driving adoption of Gen AI developer tools.
2. Deliver compelling presentations, product demos, sample solutions and programs, events (such as Hackathons, GameDays) to drive adoption of Gen AI developer tools.
3. Build and engage with C-level stakeholders to understand the value prop of the developer experience.
4. Bring market signals back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps.
5. Own reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives on GTM plan execution.
6. Demonstrate thought leadership and credibly represent AWS at industry events, conferences, symposiums, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

1. 6+ years in technical account management, product development, go-to-market, or business development roles.
2. 5+ years in infrastructure architecture, DevOps, Operations, and full stack development.
3. Experience with managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects and delivering solutions.
4. Bachelor's degree in technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
5. Working knowledge of and experience with cloud technologies and development tools / technologies.
6. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
7. Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to leverage data to drive informed decision-making.
9. Familiarity with SaaS business models and enterprise software implementation best practices.
