About the Job
We are looking for an experienced Solution Engineer for our new Business Unit in Quality Assurance Software.
Axivion is the technology leader for next-generation static code analysis. In addition to classic analyses such as MISRA, AUTOSAR C++14, or metrics, Axivion Suite exclusively allows you to check the compliance of your software architecture. With additional checks for clones, cycles or unreachable code, you will always be able to prevent software erosion in your development projects.
Squish (by Froglogic) supports agile-oriented teams. You can schedule routine or custom-triggered test executions, and identify regressions before builds get to QA.
As a Solution Engineer, you will be responsible for pre-sales technical assistance for the regional sales teams and will perform technical presentations & demonstrations of Qt Quality Assurance products, in addition to being involved in all aspects of the technical sales.
You will connect with Director and VP-level Engineering professionals and demonstrate the value of Static Code and Software Architecture Analysis tools and other Qt Quality Assurance products such as test automation. You will help customers solve their development issues and deliver business outcomes with a consultative sales approach.
You will
- Be directly responsible for teaming with the sales team through all aspects of the sales cycle.
- Understand technical customer requirements and find solutions together with Product Management / R&D.
- Provide strategic and senior-level product presentations, demonstrations, and trade show support.
- Follow up on prospects and accounts for functional/technical issues related to the sales cycle and guarantee a successful customer experience.
- Manage product evaluations and prepare RFP/RFI responses.
- Coordinate the technical training of the sales teams.
- Identify the need for additional sales, training, and consulting.
About you
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- Technical knowledge and understanding of the software quality assurance processes.
- Experience in the testing of safety-critical software projects (ex. Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Medical, …) and are familiar with the underlying methods, processes, and standards (e.g. ISO26262, IEC62304, ...)
- Experience in development or quality assurance of embedded applications (C/C++).
- Experience in a scripting language, ex: Python.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD workflows.
- Knowledge of build tools, ex: CMake, Make, Bazel, BitBake, etc.
- Excellent presentation, demonstration, and facilitation skills in leading meetings, trials, and projects.
- Experience with the creation, customization, and delivery of presentations.
- Fluent verbal and written communication in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/technology or equivalent related experience.
