Microsoft’s Japan Global Accounts team is looking for a European based regional leader to work on a set of automotive and manufacturing industry global accounts. You will have the opportunity to work with a strong senior account team and solutions specialist team helping our customers to make a strong impact in their industry through Microsoft’s Azure solutions portfolio.
As a senior solutions area specialist for Azure Infrastructure Solutions, you will work with the team to lead and execute on an overall Azure strategy by collaborating with your customer to understand their business needs and innovation goals. You will work with internal stakeholders for deal orchestration bringing together multiple global resources to create a winning situation for the customer and Microsoft. You will collaborate day to day with a team of account executives, DataAI specialists, App Innovation specialists, technical resources, sales management, and partners to execute on a winning strategy to make sales goals.
This is a pivotal role on a small, diverse, and global team so being agile and having the ability to pivot is key. You must be resourceful, autonomous, and have the technical skills background to have technical conversations as well as business acumen to have a trusted advisor relationship with C-level executives with your customers.
You will be working remotely with the expectations of some travel within the EMEA region and occasional international travel.

As an Azure Infrastructure Specialist, you are a senior business leader with deep business and technical expertise within our enterprise sales organization, working with our most important customers. You will lead a virtual team of sales, technical, and services resources to help customers realize the digital transformation through cloud computing. A core competency of the role is to advance the engagement process to achieve/exceed quarterly Azure Infrastructure consumption targets for related workloads in your assigned accounts. You possess a high EQ with executive presence, able to engage with senior decision makers to uncover digital transformation initiatives, and a passion for learning how Azure cloud services can deliver digital transformation. You will develop and maintain an Azure Infrastructure migration and modernization expertise, able to identify projects, build a compelling business case, and drive the consumption project to production. You will build and maintain relationships with customers, influence long-term strategic direction and act as a trusted advisor driving engagement at the CXO level with business and technology decision makers. You will help customers evaluate their cloud strategy, determine approaches to application and data migration and modernization, and recommend solutions that meet their requirements. You will remove roadblocks to deployment and drive customer satisfaction.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 6+ years technology-related sales or account management experience OR 5+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.
