Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer II (Full Stack) - Developer Portal (all genders) to join our "Developer Hub" team. Contribute to the creation of our next generation Internal Developer Portal, the central place for every software engineer to engage with our developer platform. If you're a creative problem solver who is eager to deliver solutions and hungry for a new adventure, an international workplace is waiting for you in the heart of Berlin!

  • You will build and maintain our Internal Developer Portal and associated automations and tooling to help all the Delivery Hero engineers to build software in a more productive way.
  • Collaborate on other projects within our Global Developer Platform, like our CI/CD systems and automations.
  • You will aim to have a good understanding of our internal engineers and managers problems to ensure we solve problems more effectively, and faster.
Qualifications
  • Working experience with Typescript, React, OpenAPI, Nodejs and Postgres.
  • 4+ years of professional Single Page Application development knowledge.
  • You write unit, behavior and integration tests for current and new scenarios with clean and well documented code.
  • Eagerness to work in a fast-paced, fault-tolerant, agile environment on cross-functional teams.
  • You love to learn and constantly improve your own skills, and are not afraid to jump into new things.
  • Improve the user experience of existing solutions by being data-driven, analyze the impact of features, make hypotheses and implement new solutions.
  • You are running, maintaining & deploying your own code to production.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and take ownership for them beyond deployment.
Nice to have:
  • Experience working with AWS, Google Cloud Platform or other cloud providers.
  • Experience working with SQL or BigQuery.
  • Experience working with Backstage.
  • Experience working with Golang.
  • Good understanding of service-oriented and microservices architectural patterns, troubleshooting methods and best practices.
