As a Software Developer located in Manching, you will be a key contributor in providing Test and Simulation Means to various aircraft programs, supporting them throughout development, integration, and testing with our internal tools.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Design and develop software for our Test and Simulation Framework (TSF) using C++
Develop frontend elements, dedicated software services, and modules for our Desktop Virtual Rig Environment (MaTE DTVR)
Simulate, design, implement, and independently execute unit/module tests as well as perform code reviews
Apply state-of-the-art technologies and software engineering techniques
Actively contribute to virtual engineering (integration of simulations and real hardware)
Provide 2nd Level Rig Support for TSF components (AIDASS / MaTE / SI²)
Support customers in application development and system testing
Participate in the continuous improvement process
Advise and support software teams regarding concepts and technologies
Desired skills and qualifications
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
3+ years of experience in a related area
Strong programming skills in C++
Solid knowledge of:
Frameworks: Qt, Visual Studio MFC, Eclipse RCP
Software design, architecture, system programming, and cross-platform development
CI/CD pipelines
Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Additional skills considered a plus:
Programming in Python, Java, Ada
Knowledge of networking, field buses, and distributed systems
Fluent English (negotiation level), intermediate German skills desirable
