The ROEBER Institute, with headquarters near Eisenach and an office in Karlsruhe-Mühlburg, conducts independent research and development with a focus on the development of optical sorters for cleaning grain and seed.

At the Karlsruhe site, a small team of 3 motivated software developers develop the software for the optical sorters, which are sold successfully worldwide. We deal with a variety of interesting technical aspects, including machine learning, image processing, intelligent front ends, and cloud applications. In addition to computer science, physics, electronics, and mechanical engineering also play a role in optical sorting systems. Our work therefore offers a wide range of exciting topics.

Your Tasks

• Software development in C#/WPF/C++
• Active participation in specification, release management, testing
• Data analysis for AI applications
• Communication with sales
• Configuration of industrial PCs (Linux/Windows)
• Remote support for service/error analysis

Your Profile

You enjoy software development from specification to development to delivery and have a university degree in computer science.

• Desirable: 3 years of professional experience
• Experience with the program C#.NET and GUI development (WPF)
• Very good written and spoken German or English skills
• Desirable: C++ experience, experience with Linux operating systems, experience with AI applications, web technologies
