What certification should I begin with?

We recommend that you start with the Template Designer and Developer certification. The contents of the Template Developer and Developer Advanced certification then build upon this prior knowledge.

How can I prepare for the exam?

We recommend that you use our free online training to prepare for the exam and that you complete the relevant course. After the training you’ll be fully prepared for the questions. If you still need additional information, you can take a look at our documentation at any time.

How do I register for the online certification?

It’s easy to sign up for the online certification: simply click on “direct booking” or buy the relevant item straight from the store. Then enter your name, or the name of the person you want to register for the certification, as well as the according email address. If you are booking the certification for several people, you can add a second participant. If you would like to register a third or fourth participant, simply make another booking. Important: Every participant must be registered with their own email address! Once you have registered you’ll receive the booking confirmation. Subsequently, all the participants you have registered will receive a link to the exam and login details for the certification (username and password). The login details are valid until the exam is started. However, the exam does not start by clicking the link, but only when the participant clicks the start button on the linked page.

What happens if I don’t pass the exam?

If you don’t pass the exam, we recommend that you have another look at our online training or take part in on-site training where you can also complete the certification. For online certification you can register again at any time and start a new attempt. However, the registration fee needs to be paid for every registration.

Every certificate is valid for 24 months.

What is the difference between the online certification and the certification in the live training?

There is no difference in the certification. There is only a difference in the training: in the live training you’ll be taught the same contents as in our online training. On site there are live coding parts, where you programme together with the other participants and a trainer is available to advise and assist you. In our online training you learn independently. You can ask any questions in our forum or via Slack.

Can I change the participant’s name after booking the online certification?

It is important to give the correct full name at the time of booking as it is this name which will appear on the certificate.
