We’re based in Berlin but are also open to hiring remotely in Germany or Estonia for this role. If you're currently based elsewhere but would like to move to Germany, we’re happy to support your relocation.
Your mission:
We are seeking an Associate or Manager to join Upvest’s Settlement & Transfers team. In this role, you will manage Upvest’s clearing and settlement processes, ensuring smooth operations. You’ll work to optimize workflows for greater efficiency, maintain compliance, collaborate with various departments, and apply your analytical skills to enhance operational performance. This role will give you the opportunity to:
Manage Upvest’s clearing, settlement, and transfer processes
Optimize workflows and contribute to the implementation of automation solutions to improve accuracy and reduce processing times
Ensure compliance by following regulations and internal policies, addressing potential risks to support reliable and secure operation
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Treasury, and other teams to support efficient processes and address challenges as they arise
Participate in projects aimed at improving and scaling settlement and transfer operations
Monitor and own key metrics related to settlement and transfers, providing insights to support business decisions and improve performance
Job requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
At least 2 years of relevant work experience with a focus on Clearing and Settlement or related fields, role level may be Associate or Manager, depending on experience
Strong investigative and analytical skills; ability to identify errors
Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Fluent in English - both written and verbal
Fluency in German is a plus
Experience with the UK clearing and settlement market (e.g. ISAs, SIPPs, transfers) is a strong plus
