Location : All SAP Locations in Germany like Berlin, Hamburg, Ratingen, Eschborn, Walldorf, Gerlingen, Hallbergmoos etc. are possible.

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

We’re seeking a Senior Technology Project Manager (f / m / d) who has the qualifications and business acumen to manage large scale, high risk, strategic projects utilizing SAP Next Generation solutions & innovative technology that span organizational boundaries including multiple business units and service partners / vendors.

This role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful transition of our SAP systems to the cloud, enhancing scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.

In this fast-growing environment this role must fulfill the following tasks :

• Provide leadership to cross-functional teams responsible for delivering defined project & program outputs to time, budget and project quality criteria
• Manage SAP primed projects utilizing the SAP Field Services Project Management Methodology which includes the proper use of methodology, tools, procedures and governance to best meet project objectives. This includes S / 4HANA and Cloud transformations or implementation of technical SAP solutions at our customer
• Coordination of work between various parties like third party sub-contractors, SAP Custom Development and SAP Global Delivery
• Provide onsite presence for SAP as required to ensure effective project delivery

Hence the ideal candidate (f / m / d) will have a strong background in SAP technology, project management, and cloud migration strategies.

YOUR PROFILE

• Above-average bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, natural science or a related technical discipline
• Several years of relevant job experience, e.g. professional experience as SAP project manager (f / m / d) or SAP architect (f / m / d)
• Demonstrated experience of excellent IT Project Management Competencies including Waterfall and Agile / Scrum methods and preferable broad experience in SAP project management
• Strong intercultural business and team skills, with proven ability to effectively manage a virtual, multi-cultural / cross-functional team
• Profound knowledge in at least one of the following technical domains:
• SAP infrastructure, integration or development
• Solid knowledge about Cloud technology & migration concepts from a technical perspective
• Ability to plan, run, and support workshops / meetings with internal and external clients
• Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders, across tenure, seniority and organizations.
• Experience in managing global, multi-shore delivery teams
• Fluent verbal and written communication, including presentation skills, in German and English
• Willingness to travel (national & international)

Any of the following is a plus :

• Experience in upgrade / migration, provider transition or global roll-out projects
• Experience with “Rise with SAP” is considered an asset
• A project management certification like PMP or others is desirable
• Expert knowledge of SAP Activate implementation methodology and quality standards is advantageous
• Experience working with offshore / nearshore resources
• Technology Certification(s) is(are) beneficial
