(Senior) Strategy Supply Chain Manager (f/m/x)

Conducts strategic analyses and contributes to strategic tower footprint and supply chain development. The Strategic Planning team is part of OP’s Operations Management. It consolidates and orchestrates all strategic planning activities for overall supply chain development within OP in collaboration with the relevant experts in the modules. The overall responsibility lies in creating the most competitive setup for the long-term demand communicated by the Business Units. Our team has established agile working methodologies to drive continuous improvements.
As a (Senior) Strategy Manager you will be part of the strategic planning team, supporting the global and regional manufacturing/supply chain functions. In this role, you will be developing market demand into a long-term manufacturing/supply chain strategy globally and have a manifold interface in the organization. The role is associated with high values and high strategic importance, so you need strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate across all organizational levels. You will manage/cooperate in cross-functional projects relative to the improvement of our business by identifying opportunities for footprint and supply chain scenarios, coordinating their evaluation, and preparing for business decision.
How to contribute to our vision
- Pro-actively develop holistic strategic options for manufacturing footprint and supply chain development in line with business strategies, guidelines and principles.
- Lead highly complex localization programs in the long-term horizon together with Business Unit Sales and relevant Module functions via supply chain options.
- Develop buy options in a build to print-or-buy process, scout for new partnerships and/or new locations and/or extensions.
- Determine scenario options to close identified gaps to the as-is supply chain concept.
- Lead scenario evaluations and/or strategic projects across related workstream functions and steer them up to business decision for top management.
- Identify capability and capacity risks and provide strategic guidance to procurement to cover long-term Business Unit demand.
- Further enhance our strategic processes and needed risk assessments.
- Represent SGRE at respective exhibitions, fairs to attract local and global suppliers.
- Proactive drive continuous improvements in optimizing supply chain setups.
- Always ensure holistic Module view in all program and option evaluations via interfacing between Business Units, COG functions and other relevant functions.
- (Senior: act as trusted partner and advisor for module heads).
- (Senior: Represent SGRE jointly with Business Units Sales in front of government/ governmental agencies, institutions to discuss supplier localization potentials and bottlenecks).
- (Senior: support ad-hoc request from top management).
What You Need To Make a Difference

- Ability to lead by example creating a winning spirit and “can-do-attitude”.
- Out of the box mindset and strategic thinking.
- Strong skills in project management (10+ years) and ability to positively interact with different stakeholders.
- 10+ years of proven track record in strategic/planning, manufacturing, procurement or footprint functions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to manage manifold stakeholders in complex environments.
- Skills to work across all levels of the business.
- Strong analytical skills and process focus.
- Advanced contract management knowledge and (senior) negotiation skills.
- English proficiency: written and spoken.
