We are looking for a Strategic Procurement Manager based in Berlin to build new processes and contribute to the company strategy of profitable growth. Job Description

1. Leading sourcing boards with departments and aligning on sourcing strategies
2. Owning Source to Pay process for the category: from planning to payment including suppliers selection, tendering and negotiations
3. Preparing guidelines and benchmarking
4. Evaluating savings potential per each account on EU-level, delivering savings
5. Creating and executing a category roadmap
6. Evaluating base of payment terms per category and execute improvement targets
7. Contract management: creating contracts overviews and renewals plans
8. Working efficiently and autonomously in highly self-driven manner
9. Coordinating multiple internal stakeholders with various hierarchy levels
10. Driving collaboration and partnership with vendors

Qualifications

1. At least 5 years of working experience in procurement preferably with experience in implementing new processes and category management
2. Experience in such categories as Technology (IT: software, hosting, telephony), Classifieds, Real Estate, Facility Management, Human Resource or Marketing
3. Completed studies, preferably a master degree
4. Ideally, in-depth knowledge in global procurement as a Procurement Manager
5. Sound experience in building up strategies and driving initiatives, for business improvement
6. A high level of analytical thinking coupled with advanced Excel skills
7. You master excellent verbal and written communication in English, while German is a plus
