Senior Solutions Engineer (m / f / x) – Search and Discovery Platform

Location : Germany Remote

Your Responsibilities :

• Work with Sales Teams and prospects on their evaluation and adoption of our customer's solutions.
• Understand and qualify customer goals and effectively articulate our customer's ability to meet them.
• Assist in the Sales process, including discovery, demos, Proofs of Concept (POC), RFP responses, and business justification.
• Develop custom search applications leveraging the tools, frameworks, and partners of our customer's ecosystem.
• Distill and advocate customer interests, needs, and product feedback to Product and Engineering.
• Continuously learn, update skills, stay aware of industry trends in the Search and Discovery space, and contribute to thought leadership to make our customer more accessible to the world.
• Work with the Solution Architects and Customer Success teams on a seamless transition to the post-sales process to ensure highly successful onboarding.

Your Qualifications :

• Fluent in German and English.
• Obsessed with solving customer problems.
• 5-7 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (SE, SA, consultant), ideally in the SaaS space.
• Great oral and written communication skills.
• Superior organizational skills, with the ability to work with multiple customers and switch context quickly throughout the day, managing various competing demands and attention to detail.
• Experience at our customer's current stage and beyond ($50-M+ ARR range, high growth, lots of change, and building internal infrastructure).

Nice to Have :

• Experience designing mockups / wireframes / UI using tools like Photoshop, SketchApp.
• A background in the search industry or e-commerce.
• Specific knowledge in frameworks like Magento, Shopify.
