As a Senior Solution Sales Manager focused on cross-selling to our existing customers, you will be a key member of the team, sharing your knowledge and expertise as a mentor and guide to other team members. Your insights will drive exceptional sales consultations and help increase customer growth through the expanded use of Personio applications.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • Sales Experience: 5 years + in software or related services, with a proven track record in complex sales and closing deals.
  • Pipeline Management: Strong expertise in managing sales pipelines and forecasting. Stakeholder Collaboration: Experience collaborating with HR, IT, and C-level teams.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Team player with the ability to work closely with internal teams such as growth management, product, legal, and marketing.
  • Leadership Qualities: Demonstrate the ability to guide and mentor junior specialist AEs, focusing on sales performance.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and enjoy problem-solving.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in tools such as Salesforce, Zoom, and Gong.
  • Language Proficiency: Business proficient in German and fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

Sales Strategy, Ownership & Execution:

  • Drive growth by expanding existing accounts and developing strategies to effectively cross-sell additional Personio applications.
  • Own the entire sales process—from spotting opportunities and qualifying leads to delivering compelling demos and negotiating successful deals.

Subject Matter Expert in Personio Applications:

  • Be the subject matter expert and trusted advisor for specific Personio applications, guiding customers to unlock their full potential.

Feedback & Insights:

  • Shape Personio Products by providing valuable feedback to the product team to enhance our applications based on real customer needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine our narratives and ensure our solutions resonate with customers.

Collaborative Impact:

  • Partner with Account Management and Customer Success teams to seamlessly integrate additional Personio applications into the customer’s current HR and IT systems.

Mentorship & Development:

  • Guide and mentor junior team members, focusing on their sales performance, providing coaching and support to help them succeed and grow within the team.
