Senior Software Engineer SAP GTS (m / f / d)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Foreign Trade Solutions team is responsible for the end-2-end lifecycle of SAP-based solutions in the areas of Trade Control, Chemical Compliance, Customer Mgt. and Preference Mgt. to ensure that BASF complies always with all relevant national and international trade laws, restrictions or prohibitions for the import and export of products or services.

• In your new role you will design, develop and maintain SAP software applications and systems like 'SAP GTS' and 'SAP GTS, edition for SAP HANA'.
• Furthermore, you will write code, conduct testing, resolve issues and collaborate with teams to ensure that the software is functional, reliable and user-friendly by using state-of-the-art programming methods and ensuring compliance with all relevant BASF guidelines for development.
• With your expertise, you will deliver high-quality software solutions that meet user or client needs.
• Moreover, you will collaborate with customers, users, architects, business solution consultants and coach team colleagues with less experience.
• Furthermore, you will focus on technical expertise, problem-solving and continuous learning to stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.

• Strong experience in software development, particularly with SAP technologies.
