Job Title
We are currently seeking a Senior Software Developer for "Natural Application Integration OS".
Role Overview
You are passionate about software integration. You build bridges between server software and any client application. If you are at home in the world of middleware, this role is the challenge for you.
Essential Functions
- Develop and maintain the integration architecture that supports the seamless flow of data between different Natural applications and other systems (RPC - Remote Procedure Call).
- Implement APIs, web services and/or middleware for effective data exchange.
- Develop adapters for various integration scenarios.
- Maintenance & development of security concepts to protect sensitive data during integration processes.
- Evaluate and recommend integration tools, technologies, and frameworks.
- Provide comprehensive documentation of integration processes, configurations, and code.
- Work with Quality Assurance teams to implement effective testing strategies.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven years of experience as a software developer specializing in application integration.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns, techniques, and technologies.
- Strong C/C++ skills required, Java and others a plus.
- Linux and Windows skills required, z/OS skills an advantage.
- Experience with integration platforms and middleware solutions such as z/OS Connect, IBM MQ (WebSphere MQ), Kafka or other message brokers.
- A passion for elegant, testable, and maintainable code and an openness to new technologies and methodologies.
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to resolve complex software issues.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
