Senior SEO Manager (m/f/d)

The SEO team is the heart of our success in organic search across all ABOUT YOU markets. We work closely with key teams such as shop development, content creation, and performance marketing to achieve the best results. As part of the innovative Marketing Intelligence and Technology department, we benefit from data-driven insights and cutting-edge technology. As a Senior SEO Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for planning and implementing our SEO strategies, including technical SEO. Additionally, you will oversee the operational implementation of all on-page optimization measures in our German-speaking webshops.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and accompany technical changes to our shops in over 25 countries and across 3 platforms (desktop web, mobile web, and app).
• Conduct and evaluate SEO experiments to assess influencing factors.
• Independently manage tickets and projects within our agile process structure.
• Constantly expand and deepen knowledge in relevant subject areas and technologies.
• Independently manage and guide multiple employees.

Requirements

• Completed studies in the field of economics, computer science, media informatics, business informatics, or similar.
• At least five years of professional experience as an in-house SEO or as a consultant in an agency, especially in the field of technical SEO analysis and SEO testing.
• Advanced knowledge of Google products, particularly Google Search Console and programmatic use of Google Sheets.
• Expert knowledge of how a search engine works (e.g., crawling, rendering, indexing, and ranking).
• Strong analytical skills to make data-driven decisions.
• Very good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g., Python) is desirable.
