Job Description:

What will you work on?
The Senior Sales Assistant actively assists the German Sales team to maximise sales activity in the company’s key customers.
How will you create impact?
- To provide a robust administration function for the Sales team including sales data analysis, customer forecasting and SalesForce tracking.
- To be the interface between customer and order management in Bratislava and Far East.
- To be the principal interface with the buying assistants of key accounts dealing with any situation that arises as a result.
- To ensure the accurate completion of the listing data, WEB assets and pricing requests for accounts in the time limit specified by customer or Key Account Manager.
- To ensure the timely preparation for customer meetings and previews.
- To ensure that customer WEB Shops are up to date.
- To ensure that customers’ orders are placed on time with launch dates, promotion timings and forecasting.
- To set up and track customers' digital campaigns and promotion.
Principal Tasks:
- Stock control
- To provide a supportive role and a communication link between Order Management, customers and Senior Key Account Manager.
- To chase stock control for orders as required in line with forecasts/allocations.
- Meetings
- Preparation for meetings – Agendas, sales data, stock levels, presentations as required.
- Internal – Sales Marketing and Stock Meetings.
- External – Customer meetings as required to take minutes and to provide an action plan for both parties.
- To follow up action points to ensure achievement and closure following the meeting.
- Forecasting
- Assisting as required with forecasting.
- Analysing sales out data to assist with planned intakes.
- Chasing orders in line with demand forecasts.
- Selections
- Produce listing sheets, collecting dimensions, images and data as required.
- Requesting Price/Discount set ups as required.
- Send article text and image data to the customers as requested.
- Samples
- Work in conjunction with marketing to get mock-ups, images and samples to customers.
- Reports
- Sales Marketing.
- General Sales Requests.
- Listings and Promotion Overviews.
- SalesForce.
- To act as a point of contact for the sales team in their absence.
- To undertake any ad hoc duties as may be required from time to time by the Directors.
- To undertake any of the above tasks in an appropriately professional and timely manner at all times.
How will you fit into the team?
The Sales Assistant reports to the Senior Key Account Manager.
What are your skills and experience?
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in similar role in the CPG or Toy industry preferred.
- Degree in Business, Marketing or related area desirable.
- Retail Experience either at store level or retail planning experience an asset.
- Fluent in German (written and speaking).
- Good knowledge of English.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Good MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated organization, planning and communication skills.
- Ability to create and maintain business presentations, Excel files, read POS reports.
- Customer driven approach and a “go-getter” attitude.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships, both externally and internally.
