You will be joining one of our two squads, in place of our current Principal Product Manager. You will be working with a dedicated Product designer and a dedicated Tech team.
In order to give ourselves the means to achieving this, we are also investing in our product and tech team by opening a third cross-functional squad.
Craft and execute product initiatives that align with Shipup’s missions, business goals, and team OKRs.
Define and clearly communicate the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders (including C-level), ensuring alignment and driving strategic goals, by explaining the story/rationale behind the choices, compellingly.
You will work hand in hand with your Tech lead to look over the engineering team, making sure projects stay on schedule.
You will write comprehensive product specifications and be in charge of the QA.
You will make sure to keep an agile approach allowing you to quickly iterate on your product.
You will define the right proxies to evaluate the success and impact of an initiative in the short and long term, and monitor them carefully once in production.
You will work hand in hand with Product Designers to ensure the solution you are delivering is a good fit with the problem identified. You will also work closely with the Product Marketing Manager to build an effective release plan that guarantees its adoption.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including our Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales team, to develop and launch new product features and improvements that deliver value to Shipup and drive company growth.
You will mobilize and influence other departments to achieve your team’s objectives.
Help define the team quarterly OKRs.
Assess the success of the Product strategy of your Product scope, and adapt it if needed.
You will think proactively about competitors’ insights to inform product strategy. You will use all insights to inform product strategy and identify sustainable competitive advantages for your use case.
You will be coaching more junior PMs and help them improve their Product skills using a pedagogical approach.
You will take leadership in company-wide projects.
You’ll join a team of nineteen (12 technical and 6 product people) led by Léa (our CPTO) and Florian (VP Engineering). The team is currently divided into two cross-functional squads. Our aim is to keep growing that team with the opening of a third squad in mid-2025!

You are used to conducting user research, collecting and structuring insights.
You rely on a data-driven approach to validate if an opportunity is worth prioritizing.
You write structured and easy to understand Product specifications on complex features.
You have a strong agile mindset.
You know what you need to learn and you find the right scope of release to make sure to gather the right insights and leverage them for your future releases.
You are able to evaluate the success and impact of an initiative in the short and long term by choosing and tracking the right KPIs.
You follow up autonomously and continuously on the Outcome of your initiatives to make sure they reach their impact.
You're a great communicator and will be able to scale those communications as the company grows, between customers, sales, support and our Engineering team.
You have a clear knowledge of specificities of SaaS and B2B business.
You master both languages so you can interview our clients in France and around the world.
Our interviews align with our flexible remote policy, allowing you the choice to attend either on-site or remotely.
We’ll check in with two references, one of which is a manager (past or current), to better understand how to support you in this new role.
