Advice on development projects and cooperation agreements.
Support in monitoring technology fields and identify opportunities, gaps, and risks.
Cooperation with R&D / engineering and product management teams to capture innovative ideas, categorize and review the potential value of such ideas, as well as the coordination of novelty search.
Cooperation with the global IP teams inclusive "IP champions" in engineering centers.
Internal patent analysis to determine the strength and value of existing portfolios.
Perform patent analyses of third-party portfolios for several business purposes.
Maintain a database for the collection of innovation ideas and coordination of permits to track potential patents.
Groundwork for national and international litigation and enforcement measures - care of the patent database and coordination of the expenses for their care.
Support for the preparation of quarterly reports for all patent and intellectual property activities.
Propose applications to extend the patent portfolio to prepare protection of new technologies aligned with the technology roadmap.
Build a patent fence on key technologies especially for the US patent portfolio part.
Your Profile
A completed bachelor's degree in electronics engineering or mechatronics and ideally experience in the patent area.
Very good understanding of US patent law for prosecution activities.
Registered US Patent Agent.
Experience as Patent Agent.
Ideally industrial experience in electronics engineering.
Strong technical understanding and ability to learn quickly.
Strong analytical thinking and systematic approach.
