JOB PURPOSE/ROLE
The IT Auditor, reporting into the Head of IT Audit, is an experienced senior specialist role with in-depth auditing experience in Digitalization and IT.
What you will do
- Responsible for the successful execution of our audit plan as well as for ad-hoc engagements;
- Planning, leading, and managing complex audit assignments, supervising audit projects (IT and integrated audits), defining risk-based audit areas (both IT and business), auditing business transactions, workflows, processes, and controlling systems, as well as infrastructure and network with limited supervision;
- Determining deficiencies and vulnerabilities to be remedied, analyzing audit results, proposing solutions, leading closing meetings, and ensuring progress is planned and in line with applicable standards;
- Collaborating on departmental and inter-organizational projects;
- Complying with the audit policies and respective standards (independence, integrity, confidentiality, truth and fairness, security, economy, system conformity);
- Supporting and reviewing auditor’s work (audit preparation, interviews, tests, evidence gathering, report writing, and validation preparation);
- Being a center of Excellence for our IT Infrastructure & Network Management, Information Security, Cyber Security, IT General Controls, integrated audits, business application controls, system development methodologies, Business Continuity Management and IT best practices;
- Planning and implementing technical training and information sharing (team/peer).
What you bring
- Minimum 5-7 years professional experience in internal/external IT audit, or as IT consultant or equivalent;
- University degree (or comprehensive experience) in Information Technologies, Business Informatics or equivalent;
- Professional certification e.g. as CISA, CISSP, or in COBIT, ITIL would be an advantage;
- Ideally in-depth knowledge of experience in Asset Management or financial services, including financial industry products and services, securities processing and related information systems;
- Strong and broad IT skills (operating system, database, networks, information security and related security tools, web technology, programming, software deployment, general IT controls, IT governance);
- Intercultural skills and sensitivities necessary to work effectively in global organizations;
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written); German language skills would be beneficial;
- Willingness to travel.
