Digital Retail is the core of HUGO BOSS AG's eCommerce activities. We ensure that hugoboss.com is a class-leading website, inspiring our customers and easily helping them to buy their HUGO BOSS products. You are interested in retail planning? To strengthen our continuously growing department, we are looking for a Senior Merchandise Planner Global eCommerce (m/f/d).
What you can expect:
- Overall responsibility for Net Sales, Total Price Reductions, Margin, and Total Stock targets for all centrally managed online platforms (HB.com and marketplaces) in close cooperation with Team Lead; design of eCommerce strategy together with other relevant stakeholders.
- Operational planning: pre-order buying budget planning for fashion and NOS assortments, in-season budget planning, logistics inbound planning; guidance of planning subteam with operational planning review of plans.
- Overall monitoring of in-season performance of all online platforms, defining and triggering necessary measures and actions with the teams; guidance and controlling of planning and marketplace subteam in terms of action steps.
- Alignment of budgets, other targets, and overall strategy with buying and senior management.
- Professional and functional management of planning subteam: professional development, clear guidance towards targets, delegation, and motivation; individual guidance of team members and functional development.
- Steering and developing planning processes and reports to ensure that eCom planning stays competitive, joining projects as project team member or take responsibility and steer projects as project lead.
- Management of internal and external global interfaces: alignment with external partners, alignment with internal global markets, communication and collaboration with all other internal interfaces to build a good partnership; actively brings stakeholders and interfaces together and provides guidance to team to ensure appropriate stakeholder management on all levels.
Your profile:- Successfully completed studies in economics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
- At least 5 years of working experience in at least one of the following areas: retail, merchandise planning, eCommerce.
- Decision-making and assertiveness.
- Strong analytical and communicational skills, visionary mind, ability to lead a team, and assertiveness.
- Independent, solution-oriented, and pragmatic way of working, as well as good time management.
- High affinity for numbers and strong analytical thinking.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
