Job Description

As a (Senior) Marketing Manager – Restaurant Partnership, you will develop and execute tailored marketing strategies aimed at improving partner visibility, driving growth, and increasing customer engagement on our platform.

To accomplish this, you’ll need to work both strategically as well as operationally and be a data-driven doer who’s not afraid of getting your hands dirty. You’ll work closely with the commercial account management team, our partners as well as the local marketing team in Germany. This position is based in Berlin, and some travel within Germany might be required. You’ll report directly to the Head of Restaurant and Partnerships Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Marketing Strategy Development:
    • Develop and execute marketing strategies customized for the most popular restaurant partners on the Wolt platform.
    • Create comprehensive 360 marketing plans, including advertising campaigns across various channels (paid, owned, earned), promotions, and co-branded initiatives.
  2. Campaign Planning and Execution:
    • Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote partner restaurants on the Wolt platform.
    • Collaborate with the local marketing team and our media agencies to create various advertising content, including digital ads, social media promotions, digital out of home, email marketing & more.
    • Manage the marketing budget for our exclusive partners, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to financial targets.
  3. Partnership Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at our exclusive restaurant partners.
    • Collaborate with the partner's marketing and operations teams to align strategies and achieve common goals.
  4. Brand Consistency, Cross-Promotions, CRM, and Co-Branding:
    • Ensure that partner restaurants maintain consistency within the Wolt app, aligning with our brand guidelines.
    • Explore opportunities for cross-promotions with other brands or influencers.
    • Collaborate on co-branded marketing initiatives to drive growth and customer engagement.
    • Support the creation and setup of various customer engagement tools like newsletters, push notifications, in-app pop-ups, and local incentive campaigns.
  5. Performance Reporting, Data Analysis & Insights:
    • Prepare regular performance reports highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
    • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and promotional efforts across Wolt-owned and external channels.
    • Use data-based insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve return on investment (ROI).

Qualifications

  • Tenor experience in marketing, with a strong track record in campaign management and a broad marketing toolkit.
  • Experience in B2C marketing and strategic partnership.
  • Fluency in German and English (or strong proficiency) to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Hands-on and strategic mindset—able to develop marketing initiatives, execute campaigns, and drive results.
  • Data-driven approach, using analytics to inform campaign strategies, measure impact, and optimize performance.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, experienced in collaborating across internal teams, external partners, and agencies.
  • Self-starter and team player, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with a structured approach to problem-solving and project execution.
  • Proactive and adaptable, thriving in dynamic environments and comfortable with ambiguity.
