To succeed, we are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager (all genders) on a senior (to staff) level to join our Team in Berlin. This position is full-time.

The Role

This is an opportunity for you, an ambitious and intrinsically motivated Marketing Manager, to work in a small and value-driven company. We're offering a stable environment as we're running an established and profitable business. At the same time, we can offer lots of individual responsibility, freedom, and room to move the needle.

We operate within a B2B2C model, and you'll be joining our B2B team.

In this role, you'll work directly with and report to our Head of Growth Marketing, while collaborating closely with our CRM and Business Development teams.

We're in a growth phase and have seen early success expanding through digital channels in Germany. We're now focused on scaling our efforts there, while also planning to extend these strategies to Switzerland, where we already operate, and to new markets like Italy. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can navigate the complexities of market research, segmentation, and customer insights, while executing campaigns that drive business growth.

Our marketing stack includes Braze, Facebook, Instagram, and Google. We are also in the process of integrating LinkedIn and WhatsApp into our marketing channels.

Requirements

Hard Requirements

  • Native level language skills in German
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English
  • Existing EU work permit
  • Primary residence in Germany
Nice to have
  • Relevant industry experience (finance, insurance, investment)
  • Bonus: Having worked for a pension insurance or as an insurance broker before
  • Familiarity with Git, Markdown, and basic HTML
  • Bonus: You bring strong skills in either French or Italian and are comfortable writing or speaking to partners & customers in either one of these languages
The Skills we are looking for
  • Deep understanding of market research, data analysis, and customer insights
  • Experience at developing and optimizing marketing strategies across multiple channels, platforms, and you can clearly describe the campaigns you've run and what you've learned
  • Develop segmentation strategies to target the right audience with personalized and impactful messaging
  • Analyze customer behavior and segmentation data to identify trends, opportunities, and insights that inform direct mail and broader marketing strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to hit business growth goals through creative and landing page optimizations and channel expansion

  • Creative thinker, exceptional storyteller, and communicator
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience measuring and optimizing marketing performance based on data insights
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-driven, taking ownership of your responsibilities and acting as a "manager of one," with the ability to work independently without needing close supervision
  • Enjoy exploring your own ideas

Benefits
  • Salary ranges
    • Senior: 62 - 72k
    • Staff: 72 - 80k
  • Bonus: We pay voluntary company-wide bonuses of an estimated 3-10%, if business performance permits, with a 100% track record of doing so since 2019.
