Senior Manager Sponsorship Intelligence Dortmund (BVB) (m/f/d)

These are your tasks:

• You support the SPORTFIVE sales team at Borussia Dortmund throughout the entire sponsorship sales process based on data-driven analyses.
• You are a specialist in monitoring the success of sponsorship and you analyze and interpret data from media and market research. You turn this data into convincing sales arguments for sponsorship at Borussia Dortmund.
• You identify potential target customers for sponsorship and hospitality at Borussia Dortmund based on a variety of data sources.
• You accompany the SPORTFIVE sales team at Borussia Dortmund as well as the partner management of Borussia Dortmund in meetings with (potential) partners.
• You will work in close collaboration with the Sponsorship Intelligence Team in Frankfurt and Hamburg as well as with our service providers in the field of media research.
• You will work with experts in data engineering/data science on the automation and linking of data streams and better accessibility for the SPORTFIVE sales teams and partner management at Borussia Dortmund.
• You will receive support in your activities through a working student position (20 hours/week).

This is what you bring with you:

• Several years of professional experience in the field of sponsorship research / sponsorship performance marketing, ideally in the field of media research
• Good understanding of the mechanisms of our core sales business of marketing sponsorship rights, especially in the area of Bundesliga football
• Confident written and spoken English skills for English-language presentations and communication with our international colleagues
• Very good presentation skills with a friendly, engaging demeanor
• Very good understanding of numbers, analytical thinking skills and solid Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Experience with Power BI is an advantage
• Enjoy deriving business recommendations from data and dealing with sales trends
