Kleinanzeigen has a lot of headroom in capturing value from the commerce we enable across a vast array of categories, from consumer goods to Real Estate and Motors, all the way to Jobs. Evolving our pricing strategies and capabilities plays a crucial role here. The purpose of this role is to serve as the key expert for all things pricing in Kleinanzeigen, whether in C2C, B2C or Advertising.
We are looking for an experienced Pricing leader who will work cross-functionally and enable the value capture in mid to long term. You will be reporting to the Head of FP&A and closely working with leaders across the company. This is a hybrid role, and our office is based in Berlin Charlottenburg.
What will you do in this role:
Enable teams across the company to capture a fair share of the value we provide to our customers by becoming our key pricing expert.
Design and implement pricing and promotion strategies across all target groups and categories of our marketplace, including C2C and B2C, from Consumer Goods to Real Estate and Jobs.
Closely collaborate with teams from analytics, finance, product and business development to optimize pricing over time in line with our business strategy.
Play a key role in constantly evolving our pricing capabilities by monitoring the impact of initiatives, staying on top of market trends and implementing state-of-the-art technical capabilities together with product development.
Competencies:
Deep pricing expertise (strategy, planning, execution).
Excellent analytical skills in pricing context (can run analyses him-/herself).
Research skills.
Ability to design pricing strategy in context of Kleinanzeigen growth strategy and with execution in mind.
Results orientation.
Fluent in English, fluency in German a big plus.
Experience:
4+ years of experience in pricing consultancy or comparable expert role.
Proven track record of moving the needle in line with company strategy.
Experienced in enabling delivery of pricing projects in collaboration with other business functions like analytics, finance, product and business development and closing the loop in terms of learnings.
Preferably in-depth knowledge of the German e- and re-commerce landscape.
