Senior Machine Vision Engineer / Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

We are looking for a Machine Vision Leader to step into a CTO role, leading our technical vision and ensuring the seamless integration of AI-driven machine vision technologies into industrial workflows. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in computer vision and AI, alongside strong leadership skills, to guide a team of engineers and Computer Vision experts. This role is crucial in advancing our proprietary AI models, improving synthetic data generation techniques, and driving scalable deployments for global manufacturing clients.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Define and implement the technical roadmap for machine vision and synthetic data applications.
• Lead the design, development, and optimization of AI-driven defect detection and anomaly detection systems.
• Ensure seamless integration of AI vision models with industrial-grade hardware and software.
• Oversee AI model performance benchmarking, feature engineering, and deployment strategies for real-time quality control.

Team & Project Management

• Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, product management, and sales to align technical development with business needs.
• Establish agile development processes for AI model training, validation, and deployment in production environments.

Research & Development

• Advance our synthetic data generation capabilities to reduce reliance on costly real-world data collection.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in computer vision, deep learning, and industrial automation.
• Lead partnerships with hardware providers, industrial automation firms, and research institutions to improve system capabilities.

Strategic & Stakeholder Engagement

• Communicate complex technical concepts to investors, clients, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work closely with enterprise customers to customize machine vision solutions for their manufacturing processes.
• Drive intellectual property (IP) strategy, ensuring innovations are protected and marketable.

Requirements

Education

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI, Robotics, or a related field.

Experience

• 5+ years in machine vision, AI-powered quality control, or industrial automation, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of developing and deploying machine vision systems in industrial settings.
• Strong technical expertise in deep learning-based vision models, synthetic data, and real-time anomaly detection.

Technical Skills

• Deep understanding of machine vision algorithms, image processing, and neural networks for defect detection.
• Experience with computer vision frameworks (OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and real-time AI inference systems.
• Familiarity with hardware-software integration, including cameras, sensors, and embedded systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or similar languages.
