Senior Machine Learning Engineer m/f/d

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI and machine learning models for internal and customer use cases.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing products.
3. Train and fine-tune AI models, focusing on achieving superior performance and precision.
4. Deploy on local GPU hardware, including profiling and optimization to ensure efficient execution of AI models.
5. Develop data processing pipelines and prepare data for NLP training.
6. Enhance model performance by integrating external knowledge sources during the generation process.
7. Deploy AI models in production environments and ensure they are running efficiently.
8. Monitor and maintain AI systems to ensure they meet performance and reliability standards.
9. Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting systems for AI solutions.
10. Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality AI solutions.
11. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior AI engineers and data scientists.
12. Contribute to code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation.
13. Work with large datasets to train and validate AI models.
14. Implement data preprocessing and augmentation techniques to enhance model performance.
15. Ensure data integrity and security throughout the AI development lifecycle.
16. Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies and conduct research to explore new techniques and methodologies.
17. Propose and implement innovative AI solutions to solve complex problems.

Your Capabilities:

1. You hold a master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
2. You have at least 10 years of experience in Software Engineering and at least 3 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions.
3. You have strong programming skills in Python, R, or other relevant languages.
4. You have proficiency with data analysis and machine learning libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy).
5. You have experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
6. You demonstrate a robust foundation in technical knowledge and possess problem-solving capabilities.
7. You are experienced in working with AI inference frameworks.
8. You have a deep understanding of NLP principles and techniques, including Transformer architectures, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Generative AI.
9. You are proficient in leveraging retrieval-augmented techniques for generative tasks.
10. You have the passion and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
11. You possess strong organizational and project management skills.
