Our Legal department is looking for another team member to take ownership of impactful projects, including implementing a Contract Management System, overseeing the MILES Group's contractual landscape, and building a legal knowledge center. This role offers the freedom to shape processes and make a significant contribution to the company's success.

Your Responsibility

• Ownership and Optimization of Contract Management System Process -Implement, maintain and optimize MILES’ contract management system, ensuring efficiency, compliance and seamless integration with business operations)
• Comprehensive Contract Review and Negotiation-E.g., IT related contracts with API integrations, partnership agreements and contracts under German civil law related to MILES’ operations
• Leadership in Legal Projects and Knowledge Building–Lead big legal projects and initiatives while building and maintaining a legal knowledge center to empower teams with practical legal resources
• Support for Ad Hoc Legal and Litigation Needs – Provide legal guidance on emerging issues and support litigation cases when necessary, ensuring the company’s interests are effectively represented

Your Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience, ideally combining work at reputable law firm(s) with in-house legal roles, offering a well-rounded perspective on both external advisory and internal corporate needs
• Proven expertise in managing and optimizing Contract Management Systems and implementing streamlined workflows
• In-depth knowledge and practical application of German civil law
• German qualified lawyer (Volljurist) with at least a "befriedigend" grade in the 1. Staatsexamen and 2. Staatsexamen
• Specialization in contract law, commercial law, or IT law during legal education or professional training
• Expertise in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts related to mobility services, IT solutions and partnerships
• Strong communication (fluent in German and English) and negotiation abilities, bridging legal and operational perspectives
• High attention to detail, ensuring precision and compliance in legal documents and processes
