Role: Senior Lead Engineer Mechanical

Your Role:
As a Senior Lead Engineer Mechanical, you will spearhead our Data Centre Business Unit in Frankfurt. Your responsibilities include planning and engineering utilities and HVAC (wet/dry) systems, as well as assembling and leading a new team of Mechanical Engineers. You will play a crucial role in team recruitment, goal setting, and ensuring successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, project manage, and execute utilities and HVAC (wet/dry) systems.
- Develop detailed execution documents (e.g., drawings, functional descriptions, bill of quantities) for procurement and service planning, addressing any execution phase queries.
- Lead and mentor a team of Mechanical Engineers.
- Ensure projects meet budget, quality, and timeline objectives.
- Support project management by preparing and updating schedules as necessary.
- Coordinate subcontractors to ensure the highest quality execution, adhering to safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Manage trade interfaces effectively.
Your Expertise:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
- Extensive experience leading mechanical design in major projects, preferably within high-tech or industrial sectors.
- Technical proficiency in Engineering, Design, and Construction of mechanical systems, from Preliminary Design to Commissioning.
- Familiarity with fast-track project execution processes.
- Strong local construction knowledge.
- Proven ability to mentor and motivate teams in challenging technical environments.
- Excellent English skills; German proficiency advantageous.
- Willingness to travel within Central Europe (approximately 10%).
