Your Tasks

• You will be responsible to direct and manage the entire life-cycle of international (IT) projects of large size and complexity following best-practices from common project and agile management standards (e.g. PMI, PRINCE2 Agile, Scrum).
• Your personal skills to coach, mentor and supervise project team members is needed to encourage them to take positive action, take accountability to their assigned work and actively shape how we work with each other when implementing changes.
• You will contribute as ambassador to the development of our framework for change initiatives within EEX and ECC (the “Flight Level Methodology”) towards a higher level of agility and empowerment.
• Within your project management tasks you will perform regular reporting of the project status, preparation of decisions and facilitating meetings with senior management and external stakeholders.
• It is important that you identify and proactively manage project risks and issues, project dependencies and critical path, changes in project scope, and devise contingency plans.
• An important task will be to develop and maintain close and effective working relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure clear communication lines are established and maintained.
• In doing so, you will actively develop international energy and commodity markets, accompany product launches and, of course, receive a great deal in return for your outstanding performance from your team.

You Bring Along

• A minimum of 5 years proven experience as a (IT) Project Manager; in-depth knowledge of project management techniques and tools is required.
• Knowledge about agile working principles and their application in practical settings.
• Excellent inter-personal skills – to interact with all external and internal project stakeholder groups including senior management.
• Certification as a Project Manager is a plus (e.g. PMI, PRINCE2).
• Understanding of the wholesale energy market and/or financial markets and/or IT systems.
• Strong will to continuously improve the way we work together as an organization.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English (German is a plus).
