What you'll do
- You develop, implement and continuously improve privacy processes and procedures
- You consult business owners and project managers within international IT projects
- You conduct risk assessments, evaluate technical and organizational measures (TOMs), and regularly audit and assess data handling processes within Knauf IT
- You closely collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance, information security, and procurement to ensure privacy compliance
- You provide training to IT staff on privacy policies and best practices
- Stay informed about privacy laws, regulations and trends
Who you are
- Ideally, you bring a combination of a legal or business degree with a technical or computer science degree
- You have experience in multinational corporations focused on privacy
- You have an active interest in national and international privacy regulations and principles, as well as high affinity for IT topics and the technical context
- You are familiar with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) tools and know on how they can be used to support privacy related GRC activities
- You are acknowledged as an empathic team player with a solid balance of analytical skills and 'can do' mentality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
