Your contribution:

  • The role involves assembling, analyzing, and presenting business requirements, acting as a liaison between the business and technology teams.
  • It necessitates a comprehensive understanding of all process workflows, as well as their integration with ERP systems and related support systems. The incumbent will collaborate closely with the business community to comprehend existing processes, devise innovative solutions, prioritize tasks, and resolve functional issues.
  • The position is based at our headquarters in Hannover, Germany.

Key responsibilities: What you will do

  • Serve as a liaison between business and technology teams.
  • Examine User Business requirements to identify gaps across all process streams. Collaborate with the technical team to provide automated process solutions aligned with Business Requirements.
  • Maintain the governance model that enhances various platforms, supporting a customer-centric approach while ensuring adherence to business goals and objectives.
  • Review and prioritize Remedy tickets (user trouble tickets) assigned to the support team.
  • Review test scripts to ensure the accuracy of integration and regression testing efforts.
  • Document existing business processes to define current business activities to aid the development of new business procedures and software solutions.
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and give input and research for the development of strategies.
  • Support in the documentation of the business cases and drive functional requirements for new systems and procedures for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow.
  • Develop, standardize, and maintain new or improved processes based on findings and analysis.
  • Develop and execute process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to guide systems developers and architects.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on projects with regards to business processes. This expertise should be from a process perspective and will cross multiple technologies and functions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: What we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • An ideal candidate would have a strong understanding of Finance and Procurement processes and workflows, with SAP expertise in these areas being highly sought after. Knowledge of other processes is also valued.
  • A solid technical background with over six years of experience, or experience in a business-facing role such as Sales, Distribution Finance, Business Analyst, IT Coordinator, etc., is required.
  • The role demands interpersonal skills that include the ability to work in collaborative team settings, establish and maintain ongoing business relationships, and possess strong communication skills that enable one to challenge business partners and advocate for the team.
  • Expertise in negotiating challenging issues, persuading others to attain objectives, and leading cross-functional project teams.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong conceptual thinking skills.
  • Fluency in English and German is a must.
