Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for store-based and corporate positions, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide strategic recruitment solutions.
- Manage payroll activities in compliance with German labor laws and internal policies, working closely with external payroll providers and internal finance teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of monthly payroll, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, benefits, and leave management.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including contract preparation and exit formalities.
- Stay updated on labor law changes and ensure HR practices remain compliant.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of HR processes and systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on recruitment and payroll in Germany.
- Solid knowledge of German labor laws, social security, and tax regulations.
- Experience working in a retail or multi-site environment is highly preferred.
- Proficient in HR systems and MS Office tools (especially Excel).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
- Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
