Your responsibilities

As a Senior Full Stack Developer in the COO IT DevOps team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall end to end software quality and guiding the cross-team architecture. Acting as the “glue” between frontend, backend and quality assurance communities, you will drive best practices, facilitate collaboration, and ensure seamless integration of software components. This role demands leadership across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including ownership of code review (Pull Request) processes, application performance, and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Architectural Leadership

  • Define and manage cross-team software architecture, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions.

  • Collaborate with Frontend, Backend, Quality Assurance and other teams within CO IT to integrate systems efficiently and consistently.

  • Champion high-level design decisions, ensuring alignment with Uniper’s strategic goals.

Full SDLC Ownership

  • Take responsibility for the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to deployment and maintenance.

  • Oversee Pull Request processes, code reviews, and merges to maintain code quality and consistency.

  • Implement and refine tracking, tracing, and monitoring strategies to ensure robust production systems.

Quality & Performance

  • Drive best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to deliver high-quality applications on time.

  • Own performance metrics and KPIs, working with teams to continuously optimize codebase and processes.

  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and learning within the development community.

  • Own Captain’s View and drive adoption within COOIT teams and beyond.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary link between Frontend, Backend and Quality Assurance teams, fostering open communication and teamwork.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and practices.

  • Work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and set realistic timelines.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and development best practices, assessing their fit for use cases.

  • Advocate for new tools, technologies, and processes to maintain a cutting-edge development environment.

  • Support the evolution of the COODE platform to scale for future projects and business needs.

Your profile

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a track record of delivering complex applications.

Technical Proficiency

  • Expertise in both front-end (e.g., React, Vue) and back-end (e.g., Node.js, Python (FastAPI), .NET) frameworks.

  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and modern software architecture principles.

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms (Azure).

  • Familiarity with databases (SQL & NoSQL) and caching mechanisms for high-performance applications. Focus on MSSQL and Cosmos DB.

  • Experience with monitoring and tracing on the Azure platform.

Leadership & Communication

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus on technical decisions.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to mentor team members and collaborate with stakeholders.

Analytical & Problem-Solving

  • Demonstrated success in troubleshooting, optimizing, and scaling web applications.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

  • A passion for continuous learning, keeping up with industry trends and best practices.
