Kuehne+Nagel, a leading global logistics company, is seeking a talented and experienced Frontend Developer to join our Global AI Product Group.

YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will play a crucial role in building cutting-edge applications such as our new generative AI platform and dynamic pricing.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Take responsibility for the frontend development in the AI product group.
2. Design and develop modern user-friendly frontend applications (e.g. using React).
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, backend developers, and product managers.
4. Manage stakeholders in the company, collect requirements, define APIs and perform user research to understand business problems and workflows.
5. Deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
6. Optimize application performance, ensure robustness and compatibility across multiple browsers and devices.
7. Participate in code reviews, pair programming and knowledge sharing sessions.
8. Stay up to date with the latest frontend technologies and frameworks.
9. Promote best practices in the team and continuously improve our software stack.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in front-end development with a strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
3. Proficient in common JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and their ecosystems (e.g., Axios, Redux, React Router).
4. Experience with data visualization, data management, and database systems.
5. Experience with automated testing and CI/CD.
6. Experience with backend development and AWS services, such as EC2, S3, and Lambda, are a plus.
7. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
8. Passion for creating innovative user-centric applications.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
