Responsibilities

• Leading a workstream within a large business transformation project for the global renewal of our financial systems (Polaris) - one focus is the migration of our general ledger to SAP S/4HANA
• Analysis of existing and definition of new target processes, taking into account all necessary customization processes
• Interfacing with various departments within the company, as well as with employees at our branches and subsidiaries worldwide, our external consultants and management
• Processing functional and technical issues in connection with reporting in accordance with HGB, IFRS and Solvency II

You come equipped with

• Degree in economics or business administration - preferably with a focus on finance or commercial training with relevant professional experience
• Several years of professional experience in the finance department of an international company, preferably an insurance or reinsurance company
• Ideally knowledge of the SAP general ledger and the upstream insurance-related sub-systems
• Experience in the technical management of a multifunctional team or project
• International mindset paired with German and English at a conversational level
• A sense of responsibility and a precise way of working
