We're seeking a skilled Senior Functional Consultant (f/m/d) to join our Finance Product Team. If you're passionate about creating innovative financial software solutions in the cloud, powered by AI, we invite you to be part of our journey.

As Senior Functional Consultant (f/m/d), you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and enhancing our solutions with a focus on development and AI integration. Join us in creating scalable, robust software to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into cloud-based architectural designs, incorporating AI solutions.
2. Design and implement scalable software solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability in the cloud environment with an AI-driven approach.
3. Drive cloud-based system architecture efforts, aligning with industry best practices and integrating AI technologies.
4. Conduct regular code reviews, maintaining code quality, and mentoring team members in engineering and architecture practices.

What you bring

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience with agile software development processes (Framework Scrum, Kanban) or at least strong curiosity.
3. 5+ years of professional work experience as a Software Engineer.
4. Solid understanding of SAP Finance, Controlling and Treasury Solutions and/or related business processes is mandatory.
5. Test-driven development mindset and experience with programming skills in SAP environment (e.g., ABAP OO, RAP-Restful ABAP Programming, CAP-Cloud Application Programming) is much appreciated.
6. Knowledge in HANA, CDS (Core Data Services), SQL, SAP ODATA and web-based development skills like SAPUI5, Fiori, JavaScript are a plus.
7. Fluent English language skills oral and written; German language skills beneficial.
