Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and analytical Finance Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Finance Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing financial data, conducting cost-benefit analysis, and providing strategic insights to support business decision-making and financial planning processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess the financial performance of the company, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to management.
2. Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and projections to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
3. Analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, and cash flow, to identify areas for improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and revenue enhancement strategies.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information, understand business requirements, and develop financial models to support decision-making.
5. Perform variance analysis and investigate discrepancies between actual and budgeted performance, providing explanations and recommendations for corrective actions.
6. Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, track performance against targets, and prepare performance dashboards and reports for management review.
7. Assist in the preparation of business cases, investment proposals, and financial presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
8. Support the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and economic factors that may impact the company’s financial performance and profitability.
10. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to various departments and business units as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. ICWA qualification is preferred.
2. Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar role, preferably in a corporate finance or business finance environment.
3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, conduct financial modeling, and perform quantitative analysis.
4. Proficiency in financial modeling techniques, spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel), and financial analysis tools.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
6. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
7. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions to business challenges.
9. Knowledge of financial accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
10. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial planning software is a plus.
