Senior Director Nature Based Solutions

• Team Management (Team of approx. 25 people)
• Responsibility for annual division budget and monitoring of deadlines
• Participate in business strategy to improve and deliver highest quality consulting services and products
• Growing new service lines / possibly developing new methodologies in Natural Climate Solutions
• Strategic support to structure the project pipeline and to cover the client’s demand of carbon credits
• Support in project proposals / providing technical feedback
• Drive new joint ventures in Africa / South East Asia and strengthen the business in Latin America
• Represent FL in different forums and corporate events
• Gathering intelligence about market trends, relevant regulation and policies
• Responsibility for short-, mid- and long-term Carbon Inventory management
• Develop a portfolio of carbon forestry project

Your profile

• University degree in economics, resource management, forestry, agriculture or related field
• Background in the “investment world”
• At least 10 years of experience in managing international teams
• At least 8 years of professional experience in sustainable land use and carbon markets
• Proven experience of simultaneous management of different projects in an international team
• Experience in the preparation of business and financial plans for natural carbon projects or similar (e.g. renewable energy)
• Fluent in English. Fluency in Spanish or French, additional languages are an advantage
• Willingness to travel
• Professional experience in Latin America, Africa or South-East Asia is an advantage
