The area of IoT, and the way that it's incorporated into products of all industries, has risen in popularity a considerable amount in recent years. Our client is a German-based tech company whose IoT platform contributes to the simple and fast implementation of industrial IoT applications.

Joining our client will allow you to work with the most modern technologies, as well as the opportunity to participate in continuous training courses to expand your professional profile. They offer flexible fully remote working hours and are very considerate in relation to family needs (day care, home schooling etc.).

You will join our client’s international agile team and aid in the implementation and design of a range of different IoT projects, working closely with the customers to implement use cases, prototypes and train customers on the platform.

Job Activities:

• There will be a large focus on ensuring close communication with the end clients (remotely to begin with but onsite once safe to do so – Hamburg)
• Strong DevOps knowledge
• Instilling in the engineers the DevOps Way and culture
• Be a true advocate of DevOps and know the meaning of it in every way possible.
• Leading a team and really making the DevOps side work for both the client and end clients.
• Ability to join the team and hit the ground running, mentor and guide the team
• Dealing with end clients, so having the ability to be client facing would be a benefit.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Very good knowledge of DevOps – in AWS and Azure
• Ideally certificated in either AWS or Azure (AWS being a preference)
• Very at home with Linux
• Preferably from a Developer background (Python/Java/Kotlin/JS)
• Be based in Germany and be an EU National.
• Fluent German would be a huge bonus
