We are looking for a Senior Data Product Manager (full-time) to join our Data team in Berlin.
At Babbel, data is an important strategic asset. We are on our journey to foster a product mindset for data and build a DataOps culture at Babbel. We are looking for a Product Owner to be a core part of that journey. You will be responsible for driving the development and management of our data products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, plan the roadmap, and prioritize features for our data products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You will:
- Develop and manage the roadmap for our data products.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and prioritize product features.
- Conduct market research to identify needs and trends.
- Develop business cases for new data products.
- Work with the engineering and product teams to ensure timely delivery of product features.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to develop a go-to-market strategy for new data products.
- Monitor product performance and make recommendations for improvements.
You have:
- 5+ years of experience in product management.
- Strong technical background, with experience in data analytics and/or data engineering.
- Proven track record of managing successful data products from ideation to launch.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
