We are searching for a highly-skilled Senior Data Engineer (f/m/d) to join our Data Group. In this role, you’ll be a critical player in building and optimizing the data pipelines that power our platform. You’ll work on designing scalable, reliable data solutions that support our internal teams and customers, enabling efficient data processing, usage tracking, and reporting.
You will be a key contributor to evolving our data infrastructure while collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders, driving business impact through data.
What to expect?
Data Pipelining & Orchestration: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Airflow, Python, and dbt to support data processing.
Architecture & Development: Drive the architecture and development of a new Data Platform together with the team, ensuring scalability and adaptability for future needs.
Usage Data Platform: Build a high-performance platform for usage tracking, billing, and internal/external reporting.
Optimization: Continuously improve pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement monitoring to maintain platform reliability.
Collaboration & Integration: Work closely with DevOps, Software Engineering, and Data teams, ensuring seamless integration across the platform.
Mentorship: Share your expertise by mentoring team members and driving best practices in data engineering.
What you need to be successful
5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer (f/m/d), with a focus on designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
Proficiency in Python for building data pipelines, with hands-on experience using Airflow or other data orchestration tools.
Strong experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Lambda, Glue) for building cloud-native data solutions.
Experience with ETL/ELT processes and designing complex data flows.
Familiarity with dbt for transforming data in the warehouse is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD tools for automated deployments.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines in a cloud environment.
