Job DescriptionThe Senior Cross-Segment Marketing Communications Manager is part of the global Marketing Communications team in the Business Unit Communications, Security Systems division. The Marketing Communications department is a strong and dynamic in-house creative services team responsible for global marketing communications and brand management for the Bosch Communications, Sound and Audio portfolio covering the brands Bosch, Dynacord, Electro-Voice, RTS and Telex. The diverse product portfolio includes loudspeakers, audio electronics, intercom, public address systems and more – and targets an equally broad audience from musicians to governments to stadiums. Team members are based in Europe, the US, Singapore and China.
Strategic Leadership:- Ensure a strong and specialized team of in-house experts who consult and support the segments in the areas of digital marketing, design and events.
- Develop and drive comprehensive digital marketing communications strategies that align with the company’s business goals and objectives.
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of digital marketing communications campaigns across web, social media, email, blogs, and other digital communication tools.
- Identify and leverage market trends and competitor insights to ensure a competitive edge in digital communications.
Team Leadership and Development:- Build, empower and nurture a strong in-house team of specialized experts who consult and support the segments in the areas of digital marketing, design and events.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of digital marketing communications strategies.
Digital Channel Management:- Ensure our global / regional / local portfolio of digital channels best serve our customers, partners and brands.
- Manage and optimize digital marketing communications campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment of digital marketing communications efforts with overall business objectives.
Technical Expertise:- Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of digital marketing communications tools and platforms.
- Ensure compliance with digital marketing communications regulations for digital channels.
- Collaborate with central IT and digital teams to integrate digital marketing communications platforms with other business systems as necessary.
Content Development and Optimization:- Consult content creators on how to optimize content for various digital channels to best engage target audiences and support brand messaging.
Performance Monitoring and Analytics:- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital marketing communications initiatives.
- Utilize analytics tools to gain insights and make data-driven decisions to optimize digital communications efforts.
- Prepare and present regular reports on digital marketing communications performance to senior leadership.
Innovation and Growth:- Stay abreast of emerging digital marketing communications trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and growth in digital communications strategies.
- Lead the development of new digital marketing communications initiatives to drive engagement, conversion, and revenue growth.
QualificationsRequirements:- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in digital marketing communications, with a focus on strategy implementation and execution.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in digital marketing communications tools and platforms, including SEO, SEM, CRM, CMS, email marketing, and marketing automation.
- Proficiency in web development languages (HTML, CSS) and experience with content management systems.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Language(s): English, German an advantage.
