Job Opportunity: Group Accounting Specialist International Relocation to Bochum Germany

We are searching for our customer in Bochum Germany (in the heart of the Ruhrgebiet / ruhr area).

Full relocation package from your current country to Bochum Germany.

Salary: Up to 100000 per year (including base salary of bonus).

No German language skills needed; proficient English skills are absolutely fine.

No knowledge of German is required; good knowledge of English is absolutely sufficient. The team language is English.

MUST HAVE: Consolidation Experience IFRS OR USGAAP Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements. The preparation of individual financial statements is NOT sufficient. If you only have experience in preparing individual financial statements, please do not apply. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applications that do not clearly demonstrate existing consolidation experience.

Position: Group Accounting Specialist

About the Role: As a Group Accounting Specialist, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, responsible for the consolidation and preparation of annual financial statements for our international group. You will work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the consolidation of financial statements for the entire group under IFRS.
2. Prepare and review annual financial statements and supporting documentation.
3. Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and regulations.
4. Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial data.
5. Provide insights and recommendations for financial improvements.

Must Have Requirements:

1. Proven experience in group consolidation and financial reporting under IFRS or USGAAP.
2. Extensive background in preparing annual consolidated financial statements.
3. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
4. Excellent communication skills in English (German language skills are not required).
5. Ability to adapt to a new environment and work effectively in a diverse team.
