Senior Architect - Verbundarchitect E3 1.1 (m/f/d)

YOUR TEAM

The Delivery Unit E³ 1.1 holds full economic responsibility over the entire lifecycle of the E³ 1.1 architecture, from requirements through release to field support. Your tasks include coordinating customer needs, commissioning the Tech Centers with product development, comprehensively monitoring project progress, and resolving target conflicts. The Delivery Unit is the defined interface to the series development of the brands.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Overarching coordination of consistent architecture concepts across the sub-systems and the cross-sectional functions (incl. localization of the functions)
• Ensuring an efficient system design of the overall architecture in collaboration with stakeholders within CARIAD and the brands
• Ensuring legally relevant scopes like product compliance, safety, security, open source, diagnostics, flashing, OTA and networking
• Defining functional and nonfunctional requirements for the technical architecture (software / hardware) and interfaces to other functional partners

WHO YOU ARE

• Completed studies in the field of (industrial) engineering, computer science, physics or similar
• Several years of experience in automotive engineering, especially in the field of architecture or cross-sectional functions
• Experience in product cyber security or automotive safety is preferable
• Ability to quickly grasp new information and understand highly complex relationships
• Very good negotiation and communication skills, taking into account the goals of all our project partners and lead them to optimal solutions from an overall perspective
• Strong problem-solving skills as well as communication skills in German and English
