Senior Application Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain software application security standard and procedures and ensure they follow security best practices.
2. Participate in and support application security reviews and threat modelling, including code review and dynamic testing.
3. Develop and maintain documentation of application security controls.
4. Provide technical leadership, guidance, and direction to the product and operation teams in the area of application security.
5. Assist in development of security training and awareness.
6. Assist in development of automated security testing to validate that secure coding best practices are being used.
7. Establish security KPIs and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of implemented security measures.

Security Consulting:

1. Provide advisory for vulnerability remediation detected from Application Security Testing/Scanning.
2. Recommend mitigating and compensating controls to reduce the risk of exploitation on the discovered application security weaknesses.
3. Build and publish application security best practices and guidelines.

Your Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management, Information Sciences, Business Administration or related (or equivalent and related experience preferred).
2. CSSLP, CISSP and OSWE are desirable.
3. 5+ years' experience in Application Security Engineering or Security Engineering.
4. Minimum of 1 year working in emerging information security disciplines (e.g., mobile security, cloud security, IoT security, Microservices).
5. Minimum of 1 year designing security architecture and controls for infrastructure, network and applications.
6. Demonstrable analytical and critical thinking.
7. Demonstrated experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
8. Demonstrated experience working with secure development lifecycle.
9. Demonstrated experience working with secure code best practices.
10. Excellent oral and written communication skills in local language, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
