Senior Animation Programmer to support the
CRYENGINE team in all its projects.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with engineers, animators, and technical artists to improve and enhance our animation systems to create a tool that brings game worlds to life and enhances players' immersion.
- Analyze, debug and optimize the performance in systems ranging from high-end to mobile platforms.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements and techniques in computer animation and incorporate them into the project.
- Mentor and guide junior animation programmers, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
- Plan and estimate work and prioritize tasks together with leads and project management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of programming experience in animation system development.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Advanced programming skills in C++.
- Capability to write maintainable and efficient code.
- Solid foundation in software engineering.
- Strong 3D math skills.
- Experience with standard animation technology (animation graphs, state machines, rigging systems, IK systems, motion matching etc.).
- Excellent communication skills.
Pluses
- Experience working as an animation programmer within a game team.
- Familiarity with content generation tools such as Maya, 3dsMax, etc.
- Expertise in procedural animations and simulation.
- Experience working on asset pipelines and tools.
- Experience with large code bases.
- Experience with multi-threading.
- Console programming experience.
- Experience with machine learning techniques.
