Location: in our office in Düsseldorf or Hamburg, remote

Your mission

• Data Modeling: Develop and optimize modular and scalable data models using dbt in our Snowflake DWH.
• Data Quality: Ensure data consistency, integrity, and availability through automated testing and validation processes.
• Innovation: Drive our data architecture and processes to the next level with creative ideas and experience in the e-commerce sector.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the internal BI team and other departments to understand requirements and implement efficient solutions.
• Team Engagement: Foster a positive engineering culture by actively sharing knowledge and driving technical discussions within and beyond the team.
• Code Reviews: Conduct reviews of reporting developments, share best practices, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Continuous Learning: Keep learning and share knowledge about cutting-edge technologies to strengthen our innovation capabilities.

Your profile

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake and dbt for data modeling.
• Experience with Power BI or other BI tools for creating dashboards and reports.
• Excellent SQL skills and a solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes.
• Ideally, experience in the e-commerce sector with a good understanding of its specific requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• A true team player with excellent communication skills who enjoys sharing knowledge and making the entire team better.
