The Faculty of Informatics at the Technical University of Munich intends to fill a position at the earliest as Scientific Researcher (m/f/d) – 100%, TV-L E13 for the organisation of courses. Education is given a high priority at TUM. The quality of teaching is of particular importance. The purpose of this position is to organise courses for the newly established Bachelor programme „Information Engineering“ in Heilbronn which is taught in English.
The main task associated with the position comprises the organisation of the lab courses "Computer Architecture“ and „Operating Systems“ in Heilbronn. The practical courses are held in the first and second semester of the Bachelor programme, respectively. The research focus can be freely chosen upon agreement with the supervisor, e.g. in educational research. An emphasis will be put on computer architecture from high performance to edge computing, system software, and future generation HPC architectures. As part of the doctorate, several scientific papers are to be prepared and published. Further tasks include the organisation of related courses as well as the supervision of theses.

The position is preferably based in Heilbronn, but there is also the possibility to work part-time or remotely from Munich.
