Science Teacher – Chemistry Specialist (m | f | d).

From August 2025, we are looking for a qualified and committed English-speaking Science teacher with a strength in Chemistry for our bilingual Secondary School. Knowledge of the IGCSE Combined Sciences subject, ideally Mathematics, please include the appropriate information in your application.

You have

• a teaching qualification for Science at Secondary School level
• substantial teaching experience in the three Natural Sciences in Grades 5 to 10
• the ability to teach Chemistry to talented students in Grades 11 and 12
• experience with linguistically heterogeneous learning groups
• English language skills at native-speaker level
• good knowledge of German or a willingness to learn the language
• strong IT skills for effective use of our modern learning environment
• personal qualities that motivate and inspire the students
• open-mindedness, flexibility and the ability to work well in a team
• a high level of commitment

Your area of responsibility

• teaching the three sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Physics) in a combined syllabus to students in Grades 5 to 10
• teaching Chemistry in the IB Diploma Programme (Grades 11 and 12)
• focusing on student learning and development, extending and supporting as required in order to help students to reach their potential
• working closely with other members of the Science department and other teaching staff
• communicating with parents and guardians
